Alone is a poignant dramatic short film that explores the harrowing struggle of Jordan Matthews, a talented actor battling mental illness, and his relationship with Madison Jones, the devoted partner who stands by him through his darkest moments. As the relationship grows, the two find moments filled with happiness and love. But paradise is short lived, as Jordan’s mental health dramatically fluctuates from moments of energetic happiness to debilitating depression that keeps him bedridden for days. Despite Madison’s unwavering support, Jordan finds himself battling these ups and downs and struggles to maintain stability; fearing the strains of his mental illness will send Madison running. This culminates with the Jordan’s ultimate contemplation to end it all. But after suddenly waking from a dream of his ultimate demise, Jordan faces his biggest decision yet: To continue to live and fight another day, or to end it just like his dream.

This series lets the guest picks three topics to chat about without telling the host the topics beforehand. We talk for 10 minutes exactly, unedited and uncensored, while a timer is ticking down. After that there’s a 3 minute bonus round, appropriately titled Gloves Off, where the guest shares their most controversial opinion. For that entire segment the host can’t respond with anything but a question.
